Wardawgs updates

Good evening everybody,

Well, SPC Woodward just left the platoon and head back to Massachusetts for Rest and Relaxation break. Our platoon has been doing quite well. And, yes, SSG Borressen is back with us after almost a whole month and we are so glad to have him back.

As you have seen the movie, we have “the new guy” PFC Hernandez. He is a very good Soldier and we are quite glad to have him join our platoon. SPC Felder will head back to Kentucky in a few days and link up with his old company, and we are going to miss his presence because he is a high speed Soldier.

On 24th of July, both SSG Borressen and 2LT Pham will be promoted to the rank of SFC and 1LT respectively. That is pretty cool and Platoon Leader and Platoon Sergeant will be promoted on the same day. I also plan to have yet another Platoon BBQ once the promotion is over. I will make sure to take a lot of pictures and post on the website.

Life in Iraq, especially where we are (Speicher) is actually pretty good. I’m able to sit down and write a few words and have the Internet to post some blogs. Food is actually really good and we all have air conditioning to defeat the heat.
