Another Day in Paradise

Hello Families of the WARDAWGS

It is another great day to be an American Soldier. It is already the 2nd of July and time is flying very fast. I just woke up this morning and now, it is already evening time and get ready to go to sleep. Well, we have done a lot of things today. First of all, we have the Platoon Mission. We all woke up early in the morning and conducted mounted and dismounted area sweeps. We got into a little trouble with vehicles getting stuck in the sand, but after all, we managed to recover the vehicles with Engineer’s creativity.

Once we done with the platoon mission, we all got back to COB Speicher, ate lunch and some took power naps. In the afternoon, we had company promotion formation. We would like to congratulate Private First Class Porter to Specialist Porter and also Specialist McKoy to Sergeant McKoy. They have done extremely good jobs and well deserved of newer and higher responsibilities. Specialist Woodward and Sergeant LopezGarica were awarded the Combat Action Badge. So, congratulate to them, hooah!!!
Specialist Mueller, Specialist Ariola and Special Dow achieved promotable status and waiting for the cutoff score next month.
