Summer Months are within us

The Month of June has almost passed by, and the month of July is right around the corner. The Summer month has arrived and we continue to go out there and do great works to the Unit, the Army and the United States of America.
Talking about 4th of July; Independent Day; while you and all American citizen will celebrate with fireworks, we will be staying back at the Base and chill out.

On the 4th of July, I will plan to have a Platoon BBQ and some volleyball. There will be no patrol on that day as the Company Commander will give us the day off. It is a really nice feeling to be able to have a day off. We have been working extremely hard in the last few days, but it was fun. While I'm sitting in the MWR computer and write a few word and on the other hand, uploading the pictures on the photobucket website and doing it as fast as possible because my 30 minutes of computer usage will run out quick. Ohh, be advise, all of May's picture will be deleted from the blog, because the web page (ringo) decided that they are not going to support us anymore, so I had to change to photobucket.
As for the Platoon BBQ, if you wish to donate some fund for us, we would gladly accept the gratitude. Please send donation through paypal to tho.p.pham@us.army.mil
You all have a wonderful Monday.

Hello again

I have been extremely busy the last few days. The Platoon got a few days off, but we had so much training. Nonetheless, the trainings went real smooth and the Soldiers had a lot of fun at the Ranges as well. We qualified all personnel in the platoon with M16 and M249. The Crew Serve Weapon range also went extremely smooth. My NCO did all of the hard work. And I'm extremely blessed to have men like this. We accomplished many things through hard work of everybody. Everyone know exactly what's need to accomplished. I thank you very much, for having such wonderful husbands, children and fathers. You all have a wonderful Sunday. Today, I did not get a chance to go to Church, because I had to brief The Battalion Commander, BN S3 and the BN Command Sergeant Major. This is the first time that I actually brief to high ranking people, but everything went smooth and I am very glad that all is done with.
